Preso in contropiede Ettore lo ammette: è vero, voleva incastrare Maddalena, ma non nel modo che pensava lei. Lui non ha volutamente dato ascolto ad Albert perché vorrebbe che fosse lei stessa a raccontargli la verità. Chi è veramente, da dove viene? Laconica come sempre la Sterling gli promette che lo saprà, ma a tempo debito. Non c’è fretta, prima o poi.

Anche Carol vuole festeggiare Pietro portandogli un bel dono. Maddalena si meraviglia di vederla; come mai, con tutti i contrasti che ultimamente la dividono da Ettore, è presente alla festa del figlio? Ancora una volta le due dark lady bionde si sfidano a chi punzecchia più ferocemente.

Le immagini che Brando e Serena stanno guardando dal videoregistratore fanno piangere entrambi. Quanto erano felici e spensierati solo poche settimane prima!

Ma la realtà è crudele, anche per il lavoro della Bassani. Il viaggio che lei e Zanasi hanno fatto all’estero per cercare testimoni a difesa del “cinese” ha portato esito negativo. Serena vorrebbe abbandonare la difesa ed affidarla ad un collega, ma Mauro insiste. Quale miglior occasione le si offre per dimenticare il passato? Un sempre più depresso Valerio annuncia a Cecilia che le copycat hanno effettuato un altro furto, questa volta in gioielleria, ed in pieno giorno. E’ una sfida ormai intollerabile ed il questore, se non si faranno passi in avanti nelle indagini, è deciso ad affibbiarle ad altro commissariato. Deluso il commissario Bettini rinfaccia alla Castelli la sua inettitudine: cosa sta facendo per scoprire le ladre? Che senso ha quella filastrocca infantile?

Scoraggiata Cecilia decide di parlarne con Thomas, che si offre di aiutarla. Lui è un bravo enigmista! E così, in quattro e quattr’otto, Venturi scopre che “Pierino il porcospino” altro non è che l’anagramma del nome della gioielleria, e cioè: “Presi oro in Coppino”. Cecilia ammette di non essere arrivata in tempo a scoprire l’ingegnoso messaggio, ma in quel momento arriva una e-mail nel suo computer. Questa volta non è una filastrocca, ma una preghiera.

Poco prima Cecilia, mostrando una mal celata gelosia, aveva chiesto a Thomas chi fosse quella bella e giovane ragazza con la quale si scambiava gesti affettuosi nel centro commerciale. Una nuova conquista? No, risponde secco lui, mia figlia.

Abbiamo iniziato vedendo un clown che non è Albert. Ma dove è Albert? Il pagliaccio è seduto, davanti a Yuri, con una la pistola puntata contro…
